Our drum students get to explore musical genres such as Rock, Jazz, Pop, Funk, Gospel, and more. They say the drummer is the foundation of the band and we’re serious about training our drummers to play that part. Our teachers emphasize playing in time, rudiments, fills, independence, phrasing and dynamics and how a drummer fits into the big picture.

Encore School Of Music is equipped with two full drum sets in our sound treated drum room. Students can play with their teacher simultaneously, rather than sharing one drum set. We also offer our drum room for our students that live in areas where the neighbors may not be such fans of hearing them practice. It’s also equipped with a full PA system so that students can play along to music, without it being overpowered by the drums.
